Making Corners Disappear

One of my favorite applications in display design is when a wall doesn’t stop where everyone expects it to. You walk up to a space, the content wraps around the corner, and suddenly the architecture feels like part of the story. That little bit of magic happens when you use dvLED panels built with 45-degree edges, so two faces meet perfectly at a 90-degree turn.

This isn’t some new trick or gimmick; it’s smart geometry and precise manufacturing. dvLED has always had the ability to do this, it just takes the right panel and a design team that plans for it. With a clean bevel and tight alignment, the image flows around the edge without breaking stride. No big trim pieces, no heavy brackets, just light continuing exactly where it should.

That kind of design freedom changes everything. You can carry motion around a column, bend content up a wall, or let visuals move from one plane to another like the building itself is alive. I’ve used this technique for both architectural displays and immersive environments, and it never gets old.

Vanguard’s lineup offers plenty of indoor or outdoor options to make it happen: AiO, Axion, Axion Invictus, Axion Sirius, Axion LA, SC, Zirconium, Einsteinium, Poseidon, and Beryllium all handle outside corners beautifully. And for vertical transitions, Zirconium and Antares take it even further.

Corners used to complicate the story. Now they accentuate it!
